SAFETY AND SECURITY

We take the safety and security of our staff, vendors and guests seriously.
Swingathon is operated by professionals who work to ensure your visit runs smoothly and guests’ enjoy their time with us.
To do this, we have a few rules, which must be followed:

Upon entry

IDENTIFICATION CHECKS

For everyone’s safety, ID is required for entry to the festival.
This should match the name on your ticket:
ID types accepted:

  • Passport
  • Driving licence
  • Citizen Card
  • Uniformed services card

CHECK POINTS for entry and exit

You are requested to stay within the festival grounds for the duration of your stay. This is to ensure safety and keep the site secure.
You are of course allowed to leave in an emergency. Running out of booze and fags does not class as an emergency!
If you do need to leave the site, please do see a member of staff first.

ALCOHOL / DRUGS POLICY

1. Alcohol
You are not permitted to bring your own alcohol into the arenas, but you may bring yourown for your perusal in your camping space.
We have various vendors/ bars who are reasonably priced.
We do monitor behaviour and we reserve the right to cap alcohol sales if deemed necessary.
2. Drugs
We have a zero tolerance approach when it comes to drugs*. Anyone found with any substance will be asked to leave immediately and/or the relevant authorities informed.**
*Security have the right to conduct random bag checks upon entry and throughout the duration of your visit
**Security drugs dogs may also be patrolling the venue

GENERAL BEHAVIOURS

As an adult festival, we expect just that – adult behaviour, although we do like a lot of fun, we do have rules to keep it that way!

1. Festival standards of community
As all the lifestyle knows, our primary rule is NO means NO. This includes following, grabbing and pestering.
We take this as seriously!
You WILL be removed immediately if you display these behaviours. NO questions asked!
2. Aggression or violence
We expect our guests to treat one another with respect.
Security is on hand at all times to ensure safety. Anyone displaying aggressive or violent behaviours towards another guest or others, will be removed from the festival
immediately.
Goes without saying, just don’t do it and we will all get on just fine.
3. R.A.C.K. & S.S.C.
While at the festival, you will be expected to practice the mantra’s of Risk Aware Consensual Kink and Safe, Sane and Consensual.
4. Dungeon Monitors
There will be Dungeon Monitors in all public and some private play areas. Their word is final and must be adhered to at all times.
5. Public play areas
If you wish to use one of the public play areas, please do so but continue to respect others around you.
6. Noise in public play areas
The crew will try to maintain a reasonably low level of noise in public play areas. Please help with this by not talking loudly or shouting as this will disturb others mid-scene. Grant them the respect you would like to receive yourself
7. Noise in private play areas
We ask that if in the private play areas, talking is kept to a low volume as to not disturb those mid-scene.
8. Others scene & aftercare
We ask that you do not disturb or try to talk to those mid-scene or during any aftercare that is being carried out. The crew will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
9. Sharps
Sharps are to be used only in the medical play area.
10. Medical play area
Use of this area is pre-booked only. We ask that you clean the area both before and after play
11. Watersports/Hardsports
These activities are prohibited the glamping tents or any other area used by other festival goers. What you do in your own tent/caravan is your own business. And simply, you make a mess you clean it up.

FIRST AID AND WELFARE

First Aid areas are signposted and qualified First Aiders are on site 247 in case of an emergency.
You will be shown the First Aid areas when you arrive.

BBQs and FIRE PITS

BBQs and fire pits must be raised from the ground.

WASTE

1. Waste bins
Waste bins are placed all around the festival. Please ensure you use them and be respectful to those cleaning after you.
2. Chemical Toilets
Chemical toilets must be disposed of in the correct places and not down the portable toilets.

SMOKING

Smoking is of course allowed, but to help us maintain the cleanliness of the festival, we request you use the supplied ashtrays at all times.
Smoking is not allowed in the rented tents. Please see glamping tent rules here.

PHOTOGRAPHY

Photography and mobile phones are not permitted anywhere in the festival without prior permission. You are allowed to use phones in your private camping areas.

Thank you for considering attending an event with The House of Bathory. Please read the following terms and conditions carefully before purchasing your ticket. By purchasing a ticket, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms and conditions.

1. Ticket Requests and Verification: Due to the exclusivity of our events, all requests to book tickets must be from legitimate content creators. All requests will be subject to human verification to confirm identity. No person under at the age of 18 will be allowed to enter our event.

2. Verification Process:
As part of our verification process, we require your Legal Name, Stage Name, a copy of your ID and your social media links including a link to a paid platform. You can provide these details on your booking form. You can provide these details on your booking form. This information will only be used for verification purposes and will be handled in accordance with our privacy policy.

3. Entry Policy: There is no specific entry time necessary. Attendees are welcome to arrive at their convenience and stay for as long as they desire, within the event operating hours.

4. Refund Policy:
All ticket purchases or final and non-refundable. House of Bathory not offer refunds or exchanges four tickets under any circumstances, except if the event is cancelled by the organizers. In the unlikely event of cancellation, ticket holders will be notified, and refunds will be processed in accordance with our refund policy.

5. Code of Conduct:
All attendees are expected to adhere to a respectful and considerate code of conduct during the event. Any disruptive or inappropriate behaviour, as determined by the event organizers, may result in removal from the event without refund.

6. Photography and Videography: By attending our event, you consent to be photographed, filmed, and/or otherwise recorded. Content release forms will be required to be signed by all attendees. House of Bathory reserves the right to use any such photographs, videos, recordings for promotional and marketing purposes without further approval.

7. Changes to the event: House of Bathory reserves the right to make changes to the event, including but not limited to the event schedule, lineup, venue and activities, without prior notice. Any such changes will be communicated to ticket holders through the official event channels.

8. Governing Law: These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of United Kingdom. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of United Kingdom.
